How to color cells in Excel
Step 1: Select the cell which you wish to apply a color to

Step 2: Select the ‘Home’ option from the Excel toolbar. Then, click on the ‘Fill Color’ button and select the required color from the drop-down list as shown in the image below.
Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut by pressing the “ALT” + “H” + “H” keys. This will display the drop-down list of available colors.
Step 3: You can select either ‘Theme Colors’, ‘Standard Colors’ or use the ‘More Colors’ option to pick a custom color. Based on the color selected, the cells selected in step 1 will be colored as shown in the image below.
How to remove colors from cells in Excel
